2015-06-30 22:41:05 -0700 asked a question Issues while connecting netopeer/netconf with OpendayLight controller

Hi All

I am new to netconf trying to setup a connection between netopeer/netconf device and opendaylight by referring following links.

https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/OpenDaylight Controller:Config:Examples:Netconf https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/CrossProject:IntegrationGroup:NetConf_SB

When I try to spawning additional Netconf Connector while the controller is running, by sending following request to Restconf http://localhost:8181/restconf/config/network-topology:network-topology/topology/topology-netconf/node/controller-config/yang-ext:mount/config:modules and http://localhost:8181/restconf/config/network-topology:network-topology/topology/topology-netconf/node/controller-config/yang-ext:mount/config:modules I get an error stating mount point does not exist. I could not find this URI in the list. I am getting all data in config and operational data store till controller-config part of url. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// <errors xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:yang:ietf-restconf"> <error> <error-type>protocol</error-type> <error-tag>unknown-element</error-tag> <error-message>Mount point does not exist.</error-message> </error> </errors> ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// It would be very helpful if someone guide me with the URI and POST request body for the same.

2015-05-25 03:27:25 -0700 asked a question Is toolkit for making modules inside controller or for SDN apps working on top of controller ?

I have been working on opendaylight controller and am trying to understand how the toolkit works and where does it fit in. I am a bit confused whether toolkit is to be used for making modules inside controller or for SDN apps working on top of controller. Kindly help me better understand the toolkit and its capabilities.
