it worked like a charm after upgrading OVS from 2.0.1 to 2.3.1 and re-creating flows based on my topology. In your case i suggest to review your body of creation request and set action "output-connector" to appropriate port depending on your needs.

Did you get this answer? you can try to use iperf for getting throughput/Bandwidth and ping for delay. If you are using another solution, pls share with us thanks

Finally I have found the answer, I have figured out that my version of ovs was too old and I have upgraded my OVS to 2.3.1 and it worked like a charm. For those who are facing the same problem: on mininet node : - cd /mininet/utils - ./install.sh -V 2.3.1 and try to add your flows according to your topology thanks

Hi All,

I am trying to create 50 flows running from h1 to h2 through 2-3 sdn switches with mininet and ODL controller. 1. Is it possible to create 50 flows with different ids using same source and destination addresses? orI need to add 50 host with different Ip addresses in this case? 2. How can i generate traffic matching to each of flows using iperf ? could you pls help to explain step by step in this case ? Are there any tools to co-operate with iperf to benchmark performance (bandwidth comsumption, end to end delay, latency) ? thank you all for your support.
