good to know. flow statistics you mean? It may depend on the number of flows, groups present.

yes. That was added to avoid discrepancy when a switch doesn't support statistic. May be for older versions of switch thats what i can make out of commit

yes. Thanks.

2017-10-05 21:43:50 -0700 asked a question ItemLifeCycleListener in openflowplugin

I was debugging statistic collection and storing it to operational datastore code flow. I observed this ItemLifeCycleListener interface and its implementation. Searched in openflowplugin wiki, googlepages but didn't find an convincing definition.

Can somebody throw some pointers on what exactly is ItemLifeCycleListener and its usage.

This certainly is not related to certain type of message like OFPMP_QUEUE or OFPMP_TABLE or group, This happens when your transaction chain submit is not enabled, Is this seen frequently? There is a logic to enable trans chain submit only after trans chain is initiated,

2017-08-27 02:47:02 -0700 asked a question Sequence of action after controller receives port status from switch

This question from notification point of view and I am interested to know how after port status packet is received from switch series of flows are pushed to switch from controller. What is the trigger point to flow pushes. I am observing some time flows are not pushed after controller receives port status message.

Issue is observed on a 3 node cluster

1) what features are installed ?

2) Can you check the flows present in datastore.

3) Can you see the flows on switch : sudo ovs-ofctl dump-flows myBridge -O Openflow13.

4) Any errors in the karaf.log.

may be you can find answer while you are collecting the data. If you have found answer for your problem please let us know.
