It is working fine too. I downloaded and checkout lithium-SR1, and it was fine. Lithium and Beryllium(controller) both are okay. Thanks for your answer.

2016-04-05 02:08:41 -0700 commented question karaf add repository error

I tried to use karaf.... However, it did not work smooth as I thought. Instead, I installed integration and snmp4sdn projects and modified code. This way, anyway... source modification worked well...

2016-04-04 18:31:43 -0700 asked a question karaf add repository error

I installed stable lithium version of controller, dlux, and snmp4sdn.
After launch karaf of controller, I tried install feature dlux and snmp4sdn.
In order to install features, snmp4sdn repository should be added.
As shown in this link, .

feature:repo-add mvn:org.opendaylight.snmp4sdn/y.y.y-SNAPSHOT/xml/features

(y.y.y is as the version number of the SNMP4SDN Plugin manually built. The version number: refer to snmp4sdn's source code, ~/snmp4sdn/snmp4sdn/pom.xml, find <artifactid>snmp4sdn</artifactid><version>y.y.y-SNAPSHOT</version>)

I checked myfolder/snmp4sdn/snmp4sdn/pom.xml, it was 0.2.4-Lithium-SR4.

However, when I added repository with this commands, it shows this error

opendaylight-user@root>feature:repo-add mvn:org.opendaylight.snmp4sdn/0.2.4-Lithium-SR4/xml/features Adding feature url mvn:org.opendaylight.snmp4sdn/0.2.4-Lithium-SR4/xml/features Error executing command: Error resolving artifact org.opendaylight.snmp4sdn:0.2.4-Lithium-SR4:features:xml: Could not find artifact org.opendaylight.snmp4sdn:0.2.4-Lithium-SR4:features:xml in central ( )

I already installed snmp4sdn in my server. I had file in my /.m2/repository
$ ls ~/.m2/repository/org/opendaylight/snmp4sdn/snmp4sdn/0.2.4-Lithium-SR4/
_remote.repositories snmp4sdn-0.2.4-Lithium-SR4.pom
snmp4sdn-0.2.4-Lithium-SR4.jar snmp4sdn-0.2.4-Lithium-SR4-sources.jar

There are jar files, but no xml file. Is it a problem? I tried other snmp4sdn directories, but failed..
I also moved jar files to system/org/opendaylight/snmp4sdn/ folders, but failed.
If anyone knows solution, please give me some comments.
Thanks in advance.

2016-03-31 22:21:59 -0700 asked a question version and dependency

Hi all, I'm new to OpenDaylight and I wanna use SNMP4SDN or Netconf module to control my switches. To control my devices as I want, I need to modify modules little bit.

At first, I tried with beryllium version, but it didn't work as it specified... I tried, lithium and helium versions(built from source 'integration') but, both of them didn't work well, and build is hard.

So, I gave up integration version and tried to install controller, dlux, snmp4sdn, and netconf. But still have various problems.

Beryllium version:
controller build ok, but karaf execution doesn't work

Lithium version:
controller build ok, dlux build failed, snmp4sdn build ok

helium version:
controller build ok, dlux build build failed.

Building dlux always stuck.

If anyone knows solution, please help me.
Also, let me know successful composition of controller, dlux, and netconf(or snmp4sdn) versions, if somebody knows.

Thanks in advance.

[added] I changed version of helium to helium-SR3.
Building dlux, this error occurs.

I alreday changed /.m2/settings.xml and installed prerequisite for DLUX(node js, and so on as specified in wiki).

Beryllium version controller: Built successfully, but execution error occurs. ./controller/karaf/opendaylight-karaf/target/assembly/bin/karaf no response.... I checked log/karaf.log

Which version of OpenDaylight do you use? I also tried beryllium version and it generates same error.

2016-03-31 02:29:16 -0700 commented answer build error, non-resolvable parent POM

Thanks for your comment, but I already set ~/.m2/settings.xml as wiki explained. I did same work to helium version and it was successful. I checked odlparent version in POM file in source code, but some of the specified versions do not exist in

2016-03-30 22:27:28 -0700 asked a question build error, non-resolvable parent POM

I tried to build from source 'controller' and 'integration'. Controller was successfully built, but I could not build 'integration' project. I downloaded lithium stable version.

git clone -b stable/lithium

And tried to install in integration folder.

mvn clean install -D skipTests

I got this error.

[ERROR] [ERROR] Some problems were encountered while processing the POMs: [FATAL] Non-resolvable parent POM for org.opendaylight.integration:root:0.3.2-SNAPSHOT: Failure to find org.opendaylight.odlparent:odlparent:pom:1.5.2-SNAPSHOT in was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of opendaylight-snapshot has elapsed or updates are forced and 'parent.relativePath' points at no local POM @ line 3, column 11

I already changed my ~/.m2/settings.xml as instruction. I tried other versions, and got similar errors.

URL specified in settings.xml, '' does not have odlparent 1.5.2-SNAPSHOT. It has 1.5.2-Lithium-SR2, 1.5.0-Lithium, 1.5.5-SNAPSHOT.

I'm a newbie in OpenDaylight and this makes me confused.
