Hi, I have installed dlux components as specified in the Helium-user-guide available in ODL site ( https://www.opendaylight.org/sites/opendaylight/files/bk-user-guide.pdf ).

Then I have tried to login in dlux via this link http://localhost:9000/DLUX/index.html but even i cannot web page itself. so i have tried the second option http://localip:8181/dlux/index.html this time I can get Webui and I used credentials as Username as admin and Password as admin but it shows unable to login error meesage.

Note :I have installed the following components in karaf ("odl-dlux-all", "odl-restconf" "odl-l2switch-switch-all" ). Please let me know your suggestions.

Thanks, Subash Gandhi

For me this solution worked:

  • Downloading and extracting the pre-build .zip : distribution-karaf-0.2.0-Helium.zip
  • ./distribution-karaf-0.2.0-Helium/bin/karaf (on linux) to start the karaf container
  • feature:install odl-restconf odl-l2switch-switch odl-mdsal-apidocs odl-dlux-core
  • Accessing http://localhost:8181/dlux/index.html where localhost is your local ip
  • log in with user: admin pw: admin

Perhaps there is a problem with the order you have installed your features. I got the order from dlux-wiki-page where they said that this is the recommended way of installing features before starting the dlux feature.

To clean your local karaf container you can start the container using the clean flag like "./distribution-karaf-0.2.0-Helium/bin/karaf clean" or delete the "distribution-karaf-0.2.0-Helium/data/" folder.

i checked it once again with a new downloaded distribution and it still works for me. did you use the correct url (http://<localip>:8181/dlux/index.html) and the correct _port_ (8181)? If yes, i don't know how to troubleshoot this, perhaps you fill another question in ask.opendaylight.org so that someone else can help you ... Sry!

I was facing same problem, I followed above suggestion and it works for me. I'm running on windows 8.1 , I deleted data folder and started all over again , followed exactly above steps, it works fine now.

thanks, it worked fine.

It looks like the AD-SAL features (installed via wiki's instructions) break things. The feature:install command in this answer works.

https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/OpenDaylight_DLUX:DLUX_Karaf_Feature <- I updated the DLUX Karaf wiki, its process should now work.

if http://192.168.56.1:8181/dlux/index.html does not work then pls try http://192.168.56.1:8181/index.html . This works fine for me.

You check the bundle is loaded, run the command http:list | grep dlux at the karaf console. If it gives: opendaylight-user@root>http:list | grep dlux 334 | ResourceServlet | /pages | Deployed | /dlux | [/dlux/*] then should be able to access it as http://192.168.56.1:8181/dlux/index.html

Mine shows it as below: opendaylight-user@root>http:list | grep dlux 292 | ResourceServlet | /dlux | Deployed | / | [/]

There is no alias and base url so it will be accessable with: http://192.168.56.1:8181/index.html

The 2d option, i.e., http://192.168.56.1:8181/index.html, works fine for me!. Thanks Pynbiang!!

Hi All,

I have downloaded distribution-karaf-0.2.3-Helium-SR3 & installed following features in this order

(a) feature:install odl-mdsal-clustering (as per installation guide)

(b) feature:install odl-restconf odl-l2switch-switch-ui odl-openflowplugin-flow-services-ui

But I am not able to access DLUX web interface.. I tried both

(a) http://localhost:8181/dlux/index.html

(b) http://192.168.56.1:8181/index.html (as suggested above)

Is there any issue with this release 0.2.3?

thanks, Sanjib

If you still cannot log in, make sure you install at least odl-dlux-all and odl-restconf-all. Subash, I see you only installed odl-dlux-all and odl-restconf. Sanjibdas, you need to install both as well.

I explain how I figured that out here

Thanks for your comments...well, even after installing odl-restconf-all & odl-dlux-all, I am still not able to get the web access.

I think there is some issue issue with release 0.2.3. I tried with 0.2.0 release & atleast I am able to see that 'Sign in' page...however, I am seeing "Unable to login" error

sanjibdas ( 2015-05-09 23:25:18 -0700 )edit

I got this working but then when I went off site the "Unable to Login" error returned. Turns out that site has an upstream firewall blocked port 8181. You may want to look at that.

runamuck ( 2015-05-12 11:30:51 -0700 )edit

I reinstalled my VM & then 0.2.0. It worked first time for me. I was very happy. But next time onwards I started seeing that original issue ""Problem accessing /dlux/index.html. Reason: Not Found" I am now pulling the controller code & compiling it locally. Once I succeed I will share all steps.
