Try "repo-add"

The upstream CSIT jobs in OpenDaylight create test features. The features are installed by configuring a karaf config file (org.apache.karaf.features.cfg) with a line like this:

featuresRepositories = mvn:org.apache.karaf.features/standard/3.0.3/xml/features,mvn:org.apache.karaf.features/enterprise/3.0.3/xml/features,mvn:org.ops4j.pax.web/pax-web-features/3.1.4/xml/features,mvn:org.apache.karaf.features/spring/3.0.3/xml/features,mvn:org.opendaylight.integration/features-integration-index/0.4.0-SNAPSHOT/xml/features,mvn:org.opendaylight.integration/features-integration-test/0.4.0-SNAPSHOT/xml/features

but, it can also be done on the karaf console, like this:

opendaylight-user@root>feature:repo-add mvn:org.opendaylight.integration/features-integration-test/0.4.0-SNAPSHOT/xml/features
Adding feature url mvn:org.opendaylight.integration/features-integration-test/0.4.0-SNAPSHOT/xml/features
opendaylight-user@root>feature:install odl-integration-compatible-with-all
opendaylight-user@root>

Its long time I did anything related to ODL.. but answering based on my other answers and my setup...

Try follwoing commands:

feature:repo-add mvn:org.opendaylight.path/features-path/1.0-SNAPSHOT/xml/features

The difference is: It should be features-path instead of path-features

Hi @Mandeep,Thx fr ur reply,I got the solution.1.There were version mismatch in my Project vs ODL-integration . 2.Once the versions are same,we could deploy our project in ODL.As per my project structure path-features is there at m2.So its deployed successfully. thanks all @Vishal Thapar

Hi, When I do that I am getting the following error. Can you please help

opendaylight-user@root>repo-add mvn:org.opendaylight.cici/cici-features/1.0.0-SNAPSHOT/xml/features Adding feature url mvn:org.opendaylight.cici/cici-features/1.0.0-SNAPSHOT/xml/features

Error executing command: Error resolving artifact org.opendaylight.cici:cici-features:xml:features:1.0.0-SNAPSHOT: Could not find artifact org.opendaylight.cici:cici-features:xml:features:1.0.0-SNAPSHOT in defaultlocal (file:/opt/Lithium/distribution-karaf-0.3.2-Lithium-SR2/system/)

Same error in your command as well: try: feature:repo-add mvn:org.opendaylight.cici/features-cici/1.0.0-SNAPSHOT/xml/features

Mandeep ( 2016-02-11 01:48:39 -0700 )edit

hi guru., i faced the same issue.. just check your cici projects features.xml has the versions of the features in sync with the ODL-lithium's feature versions.. the version mismatches will cause the probelm even though we give the correct repo-add command..
