Hi, I am using restconf to access my netconf server , using this url http://localhost:8080/restconf/config/opendaylight-inventory:nodes/node/m10schemanew/yang-ext:mount/configuration:configuration/system/host-name

using this url to get the configuration of my Netconf server but getting exception <errors xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:yang:ietf-restconf"> <error> <error-type>protocol</error-type> <error-tag>invalid-value</error-tag> <error-message>URI has bad format. Node "host-name" must be Container or List yang type.</error-message> </error> </errors>

Can anybody help me on this?

Hi, as you can see in the error message the last element in URI must be either list or container. You can find definition of "host-name" in your yang model. Interesting reading - https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/OpenDaylightController:MD-SAL:Restconf#Overviewbefore_operations

Yes definition is already there in my yang model.I want to check the value of host-name using restconf. and the url you shared in last line does not have anything.
