Hello everybody, I am trying to integrate OpenDayLight Lithium and OpenStack Liberty following the wiki. I got stuck in one of the first steps, when it says: "Start ODL Controller [...] After running ODL Controller, please ensure ODL Controller listens to the ports:6633,6653, 6640 and 8080 [...] "

Then, I started my OpenDayLight client and i checked the listening ports by typing:

netstat -tulpn

And the result is:

Active Internet connections (only servers)

I don't see any 6633, any 6653 nor 6640 port. Why ? Thank you in advance

Are you able to see the GUI after you start the ODL? If not then:

2 possible things:

1) netstat is executed by non root user and hence non owned process are not visible. So the ports u are looking are not available in the command list. Perform sudo su and check the same as root user. 2) The ODL setup is still not correct.

If you are able to view the GUI page, try installing these features and then check:

feature:install odl-restconf odl-l2switch-switch odl-mdsal-apidocs odl-dlux-core

Did you install any features? This being Lithium you need to run feature:install odl-ovsdb-openstackfor all those ports to come up. Don't install any other feature, this will take care of it all. However, this is feature for standard ODL+Openstack.

For VTN, you need to install feature:install odl-vtn-manager-rest You quoted Step 2 on wiki which asks to check for ports. Step1, right before it, mentions referring to VTN Installation guide on how to install VTN feature.
