I'm not 100% clear in what you would like to do? just to see the L2switch code running?

https://jenkins.opendaylight.org/integration/job/integration-master-project-centralized-integration/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/distributions/extra/karaf/target/distribution-karaf-0.2.0-SNAPSHOT.zip This is the latest controller that has the l2switch as a package.

  1. unzip the file
  2. cd distribution-karaf-0.2.0-SNAPSHOT (or whatever folder you unzip to)
  3. bin/karaf <--- this starts the controller up
  4. run the following commands "feature:install odl-l2switch-switch" and "feature:install odl-restconf"
  5. connect mininet(or another openflow switch)
  6. pingall (so the controller know there some host connected)
  7. http://localhost:8181/restconf/operational/opendaylight-inventory:nodes/node/openflow:1/node-connector/openflow:1:1 (note here RESTCONF use port 8181 when using Karaf)
