What is OpenDaylight on Apache Karaf distribution?
OpenDaylight on Apache Karaf is an effort to deploy key OpenDaylight projects onto the Apache Karaf OSGi container environment.
Some of the goals include making deployments easier to manage via Karaf's feature mechanism, improve integration testing via Pax Exam Karaf distribution support, and leverage Karaf's console interface. As Apache Karaf takes care of maintaining an OSGi ecosystem as a base OSGi environment, OpenDaylight projects are free to focus more upon their own needs. See http://karaf.apache.org for more details.
