Hi,

I am using OpenDayLight Controller for SDN. I have created small topology in mininet and its displaying correctly with edges in AD-SAL but when i tried to use MD-SAL, topology is not displaying correctly(Node displaying without edges/connectors.).

Thanks, rmohamed

I believe this issue was solved recently. See this bug: https://bugs.opendaylight.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1544

Thanks for your response. This bug talking about "Explicit LLDP flow to punt whole LLDP packets to the controller". Are you saying this internally resolved topology issue? If yes, is it available in latest ODL build since i am using ODL REST API for our SDN App.

Also, i am calling this REST http://localhost:8080/restconf/operational/network-topology:network-topology/topology/flow:1 which giving below output, here how could i find connector for topology construction.

topology><topology-id>flow:1</topology-id><node><node-id>openflow:7</node-id><inventory-node-ref>/zato:nodes/zato:node[zato:id='openflow:7']</inventory-node-ref></node>

Thanks, Riyaz

Could you please let me know how to get the node connector(Head Node and Tail Node as like AD-SAL) from the above REST API
