I am trying to build the latest odl controller project from the sources ( https://github.com/opendaylight/controller.git ). "mvn clean install" always fails with the error below.
Am I using incorrect os/tool versions?? (But from the info given in readme, it does look ok; wondering what is the issue here)

This is my build environment:
OS: Fedora-22 (4.0.4-301.fc22.x8664)

JDK: 1.8.0 (java-1.8.0-openjdk-

mvn: 3.2.5 (NON-CANONICAL2015-04-01T06:42:27mockbuild)

try with jdk 1.7 - there was an issue some months ago, that odl works only with jdk 1.7. Dont know, wheter the issue with java 8 has been fixed.
