L2 switching with match rules

I want to create a simple flow using REST that forwards packets normally if the src IP matches my rule. So far the only examples I have seen, use specific physical ports for source and destination when they use such matching rules. Is it possible to use the NORMAL output action with match rules? Every time I try to set up such flow, the controller accepts it but nothing gets forwarded. I thought something like this would be trivial.

I am facing the same issue here when adding src/dst ip to the flows. Did you find solution ? thanks

it worked like a charm after upgrading OVS from 2.0.1 to 2.3.1 and re-creating flows based on my topology. In your case i suggest to review your body of creation request and set action "output-connector" to appropriate port depending on your needs.
