stable/lithium dont open the ports for openflow 6633

Hello

i am trying to connect mininet to odl.The first time after installation with maven worked and the ports was open but when i shuted down the controller and started again the ports for openflow were no longer open.

ODL takes time to start.. approx 4-6 minutes. Wait for sometime, then try after the proper start-up of ODL.

Don't know if it helps but... I was getting the same problem so just checked the available ports with "netstat -pa | grep java" and used a different port. After some time (can't remember if I restarted ODL or not) the usual port was already available.

If you have restarted the controller and installed the openflow features and your openflow port (6633) is not coming up (e.g. "netstat -na | grep 6633) then something is indeed broken. You can check in karaf.log for some clues. Also, when re-starting karaf, you could try with "karaf clean" which will wipe anything in the data dir, which is usually recommended.

thanks for the ryplies. I observed that when i loaded the features randomly then my odl crashed but when i loaded these features odl-l2switch-switch , odl-l2switch switch ui and odl-adsal-northbound in this sequense everything went ok i can't explain that.Any ideas?
