Hi,

I want to test the performance of load balancing application. So, I want to generate traffic in the network created using mininet so that all the hosts send packets randomly to the servers.

I know iPerf can be used to send traffic from one client to the server but is it possible to send packets from all different clients to the server at once ?

Hi Mandeep,

I have two questions if you can help please: I get l2switch project from git but could not be compiled, I tried it again it was fine but karaf could not be connected to mininet? What is the suitable way to do flow programming with MD-SAL? or How can I setup the environment for doing flow programming? I am thinking to git l2switch project which already contains openflowplugin and then import to eclipse, and then creates my flow.. Is it possible?

Many thanks

Walid

Hi @aljoby . Yes you are right ! . Inside L2switch->loopremover , initialFlow writer class is there which access SalFlowSservice(OpenFlowPlugin) to add flow.Either You can create a class in L2switch by referring initialFlowWriter or create new APP for add Flow which i did .
