I have a topology composed by 12 switches controlled by OpenDaylight Lithium. I have installed only the feature odl-l2switch-switch-ui and the topology seen in the DLUX interface or obtained via rest is always incomplete: only a subset of links and switches are present in the topology. That not happens in Helium-SR4 where, installing the same feature above, the topology is correct and it shows every link and every switch. What could be the problem? Am I missing a special configuration in Lithium?

Hi,

Try this command feature:install odl-l2switch-switch.

It may resolve your issue.

If using mininet, I think your clients will only show up after running something like "pingall" command on mininet. Before that only switches and links between them are shown.

This sounds like a bug somewhere, if you have missing links and switches.

Check your karaf.log file to see any obvious problems. Also, are the missing links and switches always the same ones, or different each time you restart the controller?
