Testing sfc-ovs integration botways. If I create OVS bridge then SFF does not get created and if I create SFF through sfc-ui. I do not see OVS bridge getting created.

I get this error while POST ing my REST request to ODL.

Error "Error writing OVS Bridge: 'br-test' into OVSDB Configuration DataStore (cannot determine parent NodeId)."

I am following user guide but still not able understand this.

Can you give the detail info of you questions? what's version or commit ID of ODL SFC did you use? if you use the latest ODL, only can map SFF to OVS bridge. If you are trying the latest codes, you need reset the sfc-ovs/src/main/java/org/opendaylight/sfc/sfc_ovs/provider/listener/SfcOvsNodeDataListener.java to an older version.

Can you share the data you were trying to post to REST?

Hi there,

The OVS instance only needs "sudo ovs-vsctl set-manager tcp:<controllerip>:6640"</controllerip>

Then you should be able to create the SFF via the GUI.

There currently appears to be an issue with OVSDB upstream in stable/lithium. I have raised a bug.

What distribution are you using ? Stable lithium SR1 should still work.
