what is the process of node detection in opendaylight ??

Hi all, I want to know how controller will detect if switch is connected?? where i can find code for that in the(ovs switch perspective and openflow switch perspective) let me know java files where exact detection code is present.because for openflow devices we have openflowplugin git code but in that m not able to find the node detection code.

plz help me.if anyone have any clue regarding this.

You can refer the code in the ConnectionMgrImpl.java ( https://github.com/opendaylight/openflowplugin/blob/master/openflowplugin-impl/src/main/java/org/opendaylight/openflowplugin/impl/connection/ConnectionManagerImpl.java#L47 )

so u mean to say openflow plugin will not using lldp discovery mechanism...

lldp is for the topology discovery.
