OpenDaylight already have Netconf support for both Northbound (act as Netconf server) and Southbound (act as Netconf client for connecting to nodes).

In karaf console, look for feature:list | grep netconf

Once you install Northbound (server). By default it will be listening on 1830 port with username - admin, password - admin.

If you install odl-netconf-connector-all, it will start loop back client. You can use restconf to add additional clients.

Have a look at for https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/OpenDaylight_Controller:Config:Examples:Netconf full southbound details.

Hi Mandeep, I want to configure some information via Netconf server, so can I edit Netconf Northbound (controller-config) to have customize data-store.

@Ashwini_Mhatre: If you want to use ODL as Netconf Client then YES, your node should support netconf server functionality and 'username', 'password', 'node ip' & 'port' has to be configured in NCC (Netconf-Connector-Client) configuration in ODL.

@anhtt: Sorry I am not expert nor tried yet. But I feel it is possible. If you are having controller source code then have a look into controller/opendaylight/netconf/config-persister-impl/src/test/resources/snapshot.xml which defines custom data-store. I am not able to locate this file in git resource.
