ODL helium 0.2.2 not sending the oftp_flow_mod packets to agent but returns 200 OK response and none of the flow is getting configured.
Our team is currently working on ODL Helium 0.2.2 controller (karaf version) along with restconf to install required flows and groups on to agent. we are maintaining required flow / group data in json files and cURL to install the flows and groups.
Here is the process we are following:
-- Installed Open daylight (ODL) controller on to a linux machine.
-- Executed the karaf as sudo user Ex: (sudo ./karaf) and installed required plugins.
-- Running agent and observed that Controller and agent is connected successfully (Tested on Web version)
-- Another way of testing is to execute the cURL GET command to fetch the connected nodes which is working fine.
COMMAND TO FETCH THE CONNECTED NODES :
curl -i -v -u admin:admin -H "Accept: application/json" -X GET http://localhost:8181/restconf/operational/opendaylight-inventory:nodes | sed 's/,/\n/g' | grep '\"nodes\"'
-- Tried to install a flow called VLAN Flow entry and captured the packet exchange between Controller and agent, observed that, open flow OFTPFLOWMOD packet for table 10 is sent to agent along with standard packet exchange from controller and this flow is shown on agent and controller returned HTTP 200 OK response.
COMMAND FOR VLAN FLOW ENTRY:
curl -i -v -u admin:admin -H "Content-Type: application/json" -H "Accept: application/json" -X PUT --data "@te_add_vlan_1.json" http://localhost:8181/restconf/config/opendaylight-inventory:nodes/node/openflow:55930/table/10/flow/1
-- Repeated the same procedure for rest of the other flow and groups but the open flow OFTPFLOWMOD or OFTPGROUPMOD packets are not sent from the controller to Agent but it is showing 200 OK response and the flow/group is not installed on agent.
-- One more thing I wanna mention is that we are able to fetch all the configured flows and groups using cURL GET request.
Did any one faced this kind of issue while working with ODL controller, Please help me in resolving this.
