Hi,

We are using l2switch code with mininet topology (created with below command) .

sudo mn --topo linear,2 --controller=remote,ip=127.0.0.1,port=6633 --switch ovsk,protocols=openFlow13

but when we ping h1 to h2 then we noticed the restconf API ( localhost:8181/restconf/operational/opendaylight-inventory:nodes) output

1) it shows both host(h1,h2) connected on both the switch.(it means h1,h2 are connected on s1 and s2 both but on mininet topology connetion are different). 2) it is not showing the node IP.

please let me know why it shows like this and how host tracker interpreting mininet topology.

Thanks !

The above mentioned mininet command will create a topology with 1 switch and 2 hosts.

Check if you have run mininet twice without fully cleaning the old one. Clean mininet: sudo mn -c

@gyanesh: no, actually linear,X creates X switches with one host each. What you think of is topo=single,X

That may happen sometimes. Try to exit and run again the mn command
