Hi, I downloaded a Hydrogen pre-built .zip file, and I'm trying to startup the OpenDaylight controller, but when I navigate to the folder (in CMD) and try to run.bat, i get the following error:

\Java\jre7\bin\bin\jps.exe was unexpected at this time.

I have no idea what to do, please help :)

I've added JAVA_HOME to User variables AND System Variables as:

JAVAHOME C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.040\bin

Thanks in advance!

Of course... How should I set up the paths to JAVA_HOME ? Also, should I edit the Path variable as well? Ive added a path to JAVA_HOME to user variables and system variables as C:\Progra~1\Java\jdk1.8.0_40\bin But I still get an error when I try run.bat from CMD as: The system cannot find the path specified. "........... lots of paths and text and commands"

Alek,Seems like you installed jdk1.8 which is not supported in opendaylight yet. So switch to version 1.7. And go through jdk installation and envirnment variable settings from some tutorial's help, easily available on google.
