Which features should I install in Helium?

asked 2015-03-19 07:24:45 -0700

anonymous user

As we know, there are 3 Edition in OpenDayLight Hydrogen version: Base, Virtualization and Service Provider. However, in Helium, we have to install components manually. I wonder which features I should install in Helium to have similar functionalities to Hydogen Base edition. Anyone have any idea? Thanks

You installed the pre built version of Helium or you downloaded the code from gerrit ?

So you want to use the northbound REST API to interact with the controller right ? Or you want/need anything else ?

The main feature you're looking to install are NetCONF, OpenFlow, Dlux, L2Switch, OVSDB.

Just a warning that L2switch should do the Arp Handler and Host tracker but have moves from the AD-SAL to MD-SAL. Also the GUI you had in Hydrogen has changed to DLUX.

feature:install odl-netconfconnector-ssh
feature:install odl-openflowpluginflow-services-ui
feature:install odl-ovsdb-all
feature:install odl-adsal-compatibility
feature:install odl-nsf-all
feature:install odl-l2switch-switchui
