Hi there, i have a controller with a soft switch and its connected to two hosts and internet.i Have internet to hosts.

So i add a meter to the flow from switch to host1(the two ways) and to the flow from switch to host2(two ways), and the problem is that i loose connection to internet in one host. So just one works with the meter for him. Don't know why...

Openflow specification in instructions section says that only one meter instruction per flow is permitted. I think there are 2 options.

  1. U can use meter bands
  2. U can put flows with one meter instruction and one goto table instruction that goes to another table. In this table u can put another flow with second meter instruction. Below that u can use apply-actions instuction etc.

See openflow 1.3 specification in instuctions section
