If your controller is buildsuccessfully and karaf is up and running, in that case problem in installing features shouldnt be a problem of proxy settings( In my guess)

Have you configured the proxy in your settings .xml?

Add the following to your settings.xml

how to add the this settings.xml file. I have the .m2, .karaf directories. I have not installed the "maven"

Check your .m2 directory, there should be a settings.xml in there. You will need to install maven if you want to build ODL yourself.

I followed to install maven, added settings.xml file. I am not trying to build the ODL myself. just integrating ODL with OpenStack. still it is not working. What i am suppose to do.

Try this: Get settings.xml from this location: Add proxy settings to it and save it in .m2/settings.xml It should work. undo changes made in any properties files though.
