I am newbie to Opendaylight I have download Heilum SR2 and have karaf ran and installed on centos 7 64bit OS with following modules:

feature:install odl-base-all feature:install odl-bgpcep-all odl-groupbasedpolicy-ofoverlay odl-l2switch-switch-ui odl-lispflowmapping-all odl-mdsal-clustering odl-netconf-connector-ssh odl-openflowplugin-flow-services-ui odl-ttp-all odl-ovsdb-all odl-ovsdb-openstack odl-packetcable-all odl-plugin2oc odl-restconf odl-sdninterfaceapp-all odl-snbi-all odl-sfc-all odl-sfclisp odl-sfcofl2 odl-ovsdb-ovssfc odl-snmp4sdn-all odl-vtn-manager-all

I wanted to install most of modules to evaluate whether I need them or not.

After this I could login to DLUX with https://127.0.0.1:8181/dlux/index.html

  1. I release that there is node icon missing compare to user guide screen shot. ( This may be I haven't had any node set up yet. Can anybody confirm this point for me?)

  2. I wanted to set up the Network -> Subnets like 192.168.0.1 /24 and name "test". But once when I have the server rebooted. All my settings have gone which mean if returns to default.

  3. Just wondering whether which module is the must have module in order to make ODL up and running.

Thx in advance

Charles

Nodes will autopopulate as you add them to the network under control by the controller. If you are using OpenFlow for your NE API/control interface, you simply point OpenFlow enabled switches back towards the controller. Once OpenFlow connects to the controller, the node and any connected hosts (assuming you're using Helium) will appear.
