Northbound API CORS support?

I'm writing a JavaScript application that pulls data from hosttracker, switchmanager, and topology. As far as I can tell each of these APIs have listed CorsFilter in their web.xml. I'm hosting the web page on my university account, it's communicating with ODL running on a server in the campus network (but not on the domain). I get a 403 Forbidden domain not allowed, is there anything I could be overlooking?

There is proposed feature / patchset https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/5888/ , which will allow users to customize CORS definition without need to change code in the bundles.
