hi there, I'd like to ask you about containers (or as the GUI calls them, clusters). I'd like to have the possibility to create a new container (different than the current "default") and, since the GUI does not allow this operation (at least seems so to me) I tried the rest API. Doing the request, i get a 500 error and it causes a crash of the entire controller and the only way to get it working again is to restart the service (and no new container is available). Can you help me sort this out??

Thanks in advance

M

EDIT: basically yes, it was a connection problem (my fault). when i tried to run the command on the physical host it worked (or at least it seemed so). Now all the switches send all traffic to the controller and i can no longer set rules using the dashboard (and all previously-installed flows are uninstalled) Is there a way to use clusters and still set rules using the proactive approach?

thanks

sorry GiovanniMeo for my delay in answering... it works, it has always worked but since i was using a ssh connection passing through a vswitch controlled by ODL, i did not get any answer to my rest request so i (wrongly) guessed that it was not working.

the real reason instead was that once a container is created ODL uninstalls all the rules set previously to the switches.... is there a way to prevent this behaviour and keep the rules "installed"?
