Loopback and Output action

Hello,

As I understand, if the Outport of rules is similar to Inport, the Output action will not work, we have to use Loopback action to handle this case.

Is there any nice way to combine two actions in one rule (any inport -> forward to port A) ?

Thanks.

Could you rephrase the question? The way I get your question, you want packets coming in on any port to be looped back *and* sent out of port A, right?

Hello, I want packets coming in any port will be sent out of port A. So I tried this: Match (any inport)->Output(A) But this rule does not work for packets coming from port A.

No, I don't think it is possible with standard openflow actions as it involves two different actions [loopback and output:A] based on two matches [inport=A, inport=any]. You will need two flows for this, with in_port=A,actions=output:loopback being the higher priority one.

It worked for me. Thank you very much.
