Hi there, i have a network with a opendaylight controller conected to a openvswitch(openflow) that is connected by two hosts. About configuration is in secure mode, meaning that hosts can't connect without controller. Well my doubt is why when i connect controller with zero flows installed the hosts can connect , and in the controller the flows appear in throublshoot(flows) automatically, how can i do so the controller don't do that automatically?

Thanks

Can you add which version of OpenDaylight you're running (sounds like you're running the old hydrogen), or what features you have loaded. I have a feeling you have the simple-forwarding app loaded.

In Helium there is no simple forwarding app, only feature is the L2switch

thanks Chris, i try it running without installing l2switch feature, but it stills put the flows automatically in the switch:(

Can you edit your answer with what feature you have loaded "feature:list -i" and also a sample of the flows push to the switches, IE output from ovs-ofctl dump-flows, and if they're in Config datastore or just operation.

thanks for your answers...well but i'm a little confused, if i don't install lwswitch feature, i remove more function like arp handler, host tracker and so on isnt it? i just would like to the controller don't permit the connection between hosts unless i manual push the flow. Sorry to bother. Thanks a lot
