Two days ago I got error "Unable to login" in GUI DLUX for Helium Sr1.1 and distribution-karaf-0.2.2-SNAPSHOT.zip after new installation and restarting application. I wanted to add new features and install some.

My short string for install is - feature:install odl-base-all odl-aaa-authn odl-restconf odl-nsf-all odl-adsal-northbound odl-mdsal-apidocs odl-ovsdb-northbound odl-dlux-core

It worked fine but was broken two days ago. Always when I login now throught DLUX I got this error. Please, what is wrong?

I have similar error one month ago, and it was solved without me. Three days later DLUX started to work.

Usually i get the same error when I'm trying to access the controller page too early. I usually wait a bit longer and it works. Sometimes it takes longer than others. So try to wait a little bit longer, it works for me. The time you have to wait also depends on your machine capacity.

To fix this change "odl-restconf" to "odl-restconf-all." Also, change "odl-dlux-core" to "odl-dlux-all."

I had this same issue when I followed the installing opendaylight Wiki.

The wiki reads:

You will need both ovs-dlux-all and odl-restconf, because without restconf you will not be able to authenticate via the web interface.

When I followed those instructions, I received the "Unable to login." When I instead installed "odl-restconf-all"

feature:install odl-dlux-all odl-restconf-all odl-l2switch-switch

I could then login.

I face the same problem, especially if I run and connect ODL after I have created mininet network; In this case I have to wait for sometimes before I can login, otherwise it will show the error "Unable to login". Like Nuno said maybe if you wait for couple of minutes it might resolves.

ps. I have this issue with Lithium version.

try a clean startup. you can just unzip the distro again, or you can remove the data, snapshot and journal directories before starting karaf. Also, check the karaf.log file for any errors when this happens to find some clues.

another thing to check would be a curl command to restconf to see if that is healthy. like this: curl -u "admin:admin" http://$ODL_IP:8181/restconf/modules

@jamoluhrsen solve it already, thanks

@vinllen, if possible you can write how you solved it so others in the future can learn from it.
