DLUX topology pane

asked 2015-01-11 17:14:31 -0700

anonymous user

I am using DLUX, as part of the karaf distribution. Somehow the topology pane (the white frame) displaying the switches and hosts has become a slim rectangle, unlike what is normally seen that fills up the browser. I downloaded the latest distribution, but the problem persists. I even tried other browsers. How may I correct the problem?

I think this is a bug in DLUX.

The same issue you observed has been already reported in ODL Bugzilla as BUG 2535 .

The following patch fixes the bug on the master branch of DLUX Git repository.

I'm not sure there is a way to correct the problem without fixing the source code.

Is there a way to pick up that js and use it in the Helium distribution? I expect js is a text file and there must be a directory containing the js. Replacing the file in that directory should fix the problem. I cannot locate the directory though.

I cannot find any js files in the Helium distribution, too. I've sent a mail to the dlux-dev ML to ask a way to fix the problem in the Helium distribution. But, no one has answered it yet.

I have located the .js file. It is inside my local repo, e.g., ~/.m2/repository/org/opendaylight/dlux/dlux.topology.resources/0.1.0-SNAPSHOT. It is part of the dlux.topology.resources-*.jar file. When the file is opened, e,g, using vi, I can edit the topology.directives.js file.

@henryf, found the specified file .m2/repository/org/opendaylight/dlux/dlux.topology.resources/0.0.4-SNAPSHOT..It has no .js files. I thas 2 .jar files >dlux.topology.resources-0.0.4-20150312.202424-7.jar >dlux.topology.resources-0.0.4-SNAPSHOT.jar Where to add the patch?
