how to get incoming time of a packet in md-sal?

Hi all, in ad-sal there is method present under org.opendaylight.controller.sal.packet.RawPacket class which is giving packet in time. but in md-sal i did not find any method which ll give us packet in time. please let me know ,if anyone has any hint about this.

Currently time is not part of packet message and in near term probably it will be not.

Hi Tony, I agree with you. But if i want packet in time then i can add that field in my packet model. e.g container testpacket { leaf ipv4packet{} leaf packetintime{} } so in this case is it fine if i use method from ad-sal. which is already there.
