When I tried to connect my snmpv2 switch it is throwing response timout error. In SNMPhandler certain OID MIBs are harcoded. and those OID MIBs are not in my switch.I am running the Helium-SR1 controller. I followed the user guide properly. I have following questions,

  1. After configuring controller ip in my switch do I have to reboot my switch?
  2. What version of snmp is supported by latest snmp4sdn plugin?
  3. What are the prerequisites for my switch to communicate with helium?

Please help me get through this.

Add OID MIBs in your switch and see if the switch is returning the values for OIDs. if not write a code to return dummy values. I am doing the same thing but with a computer.
