On karaf shell you get the current log level via log:list If you type log:set <TAB> you get all possible log levels DEBUG DEFAULT ERROR INFO TRACE WARN

To set the log level for all components to TRACE use the command log:set TRACE and verify the new log level with log:list

The log level can be set to only one component with the command log:set TRACE org.opendaylight.openflowplugin, verify the new log level with log:list org.opendaylight.openflowplugin

You can display the log on karaf shell using: log:display and tail the log using log:tail. To display or tail from outside of karaf shell via os tools, the log file is per default located in /karaf-distribution-folder/data/log/karaf.log

Note that you've responded to mawil's answer with another answer to your question. It would be much more appropriate to respond with a comment on his answer. This is a Q&A site, not a forum.

@mnanduri Good to hear, perhaps you can accept my answer above, with the little tick to the left... Thx!
