I had pushed openflow rules to openvswitch and whenever time out(either hard or idle), openflow rues are removing fine without any issue. but still the openflows are there in config, whenever I restart my switch all flows added once again.

How shall I delete openflow rules from config whenever rules deleted from operational?

Thanks in advace for any help....

Hello,

Essentially, Operational represents the switch state, whereas Config represents the expected behavior. If you don't want the flow in Config, you can delete it using RESTCONF

DELETE http://localhost:8181/restconf/config/opendaylight-inventory:nodes/node/openflow:18475580502576/table/0/flow/1

In the above URL, make sure to replace the node-id, the table-id and the flow-id.

Hope this helps, Alexis
