Issue building Controller-mvn clean install

  1. I downloaded the latest controller from the git using

git clone ssh://ptandon@git.opendaylight.org:29418/controller.git

  1. I went into the controller folder and gave the following command

mvn clean install

3.I got the following errors.

Any solutions ?I am using Apache Maven 3.3.9 and openjdk version "1.8.091" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.091-8u91-b14-3ubuntu1~16.04.1-b14) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.91-b14, mixed mode)

Did you set up your development environment correctly, most importantly the Maven settings.xml file?

If yes, can you try deleting your local Maven cache and rebuilding?

rm -rf ~/.m2/repository

I got it fixed. The problem is that by default it will use git to pull the master branch to get the code ,which is not always ready to be built .The correct way to get the code is after you have cloned.

git checkout stable/berilluym

git pull

mvn clean install
