some problems about the netconf device operation on version release/beryllium-sr2

Request the following URL : http://localhost:8181/restconf/operat...

Response with the following content : "No implementation of RPC AbsoluteSchemaPath{path=[(urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:netconf:base:1.0?revision=2011-06-01)get-config]} available"

  1. Can this api operate the netconf device directly? And how to implementation?

  2. For , this example use the network-topology api for device operation, what is the difference between the two api?

  3. Using netconf for device management (i.e.g connnect/get-config/edit-config/commit), which way is better?

Hi anipbu,

1, Please see this Restconf tutorial. You can call rpcs on device via restconf. You can also call base netconf operations via restconf but your device has to advertise ietf-netconf capability.

2, I am not really sure what do you have in mind with this question. Example you have mention describes how to configure connection to netconf device.

3, Can you please be more specific? What ways do you have in mind?

Hi Jakub Morvay,

  1. my device already advertise ietf-netconf capability , and I can see the rpcs:ietf-netconf(2011-06-01) on the page http://localhost:8181/apidoc/explorer... , but when I post data to /operations/ietf-netconf:get-config , it response “No implementation of RPC…”.

  2. The example describes how to configure connection to netconf device by using network-topology , where is the source code ? I want to know how it work and put it integrated into my custom rpcs.

  3. I want to develop a custom service to manage all netconf device , base on rfc6241( , Do you have any good suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,
