I am newbie in OpenDayLight. I want to program the flow in switch using opendaylight controller. I went through following tutorial and examples on below links: https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/Op...OpenFlowPlugin:EndtoEnd Flows https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/Ed...OpenDaylightOpenFlowPlugin:EndtoEndFlows:ExampleFlows

But I am not able to understand what each xml tag means? Is ther any tutorial pointing out what each of these xml tag means? I mean comman things can be easily understood but some of them cannot be understood just by names.

Following are details for the these three parameter:

installHW : I checked the openflowplugin codebase, i think it is not used. So you can pass (true/false).

strict : it is used at the time of flow flow addition and removal ( strictly matching wildcards and priority.)

barrier : Ensures the next operation happens after the current operation by sending the barrier request message.
