Running dlux via grunt live

asked 2014-11-19 09:58:38 -0800

anonymous user

I am running the controller from the karaf distribution. When I run grunt live (on the same node), I can see the login screen from localhost:9000, but when enter user/passwd, I see Unable to login. The console messages showed issues with Cross Origin .. Same results from both chrome & firefox browser on Ubuntu 14.04LTS.

My controller runs fine i.e I can get restconf to respond via curl.

As a developer, I can reduce my development/test cycle with this. Any idea if deploying dlux via grunt life is recommended?

Hi, running via grunt live should work. However near release time I know some CORS stuff wasn't everywhere. However yes running dlux outside is the way it has been developed.

I had the same issue. What helped in my case was adjusting the /dlux-web/config/development.json file.

I replaced "baseURL": "http://localhost:", with the actual hostname or ip address of my node.

Then, when restarting with grunt live, I was able to log in.
