Hi,

I was wondering if the OpenFlow plugin supports masking of MAC addresses for flows?

Just for the sake of it heres a short explanation of why I'm asking the question. I need to route packets for a protocol whose header is as shown below:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
--| Destination | Signal | Rate | VAP Identification | Ethernet Type |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
--| 6 bytes | 1 Byte | 1 Byte | 4 Bytes | 2 Bytes |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

What would normally be the source MAC is split into three different fields two of which are variable (signal & rate) and can change from packet to packet. So i need to create flows that ignore the first two bytes of a MAC address.

Yes, Openflow plugin supports openflow 1.3 specs, so you should be able to install flow with mask associated with the source/destination ip/ethernet addresses.
