How to work with Config Flows only

Hi,

I deleted all flows in Open vSwitch via dpctl del-flows command so that I can work with configurational flows only. But after certain time, these operational flows shows up again so I am unable to try my configurational flows.

Any help how to disable operational flows not configured by me.

Hi , In L2switch Project ,

ArpHandler -> config->main->resource->initial -> arphandler.xml . Change is-proactive-flood-mode to false .

Also Inside L2switch main -> config -->is-learning-only-mode to true and ,is-install-dropall-flow to false .

Inside LoopRemover -> config -> is-install-lldp-flow to false

And Check the default Flow using ovs command (sudo ovs-ofctl dump-flows s1).

It might work. Try it ..

Thanks, -Karthik

You can try to disable the l2-switch application by karaf command feature:uninstall <feature-name> and after this you could install your new flows using the restconf.

Hi , I have some doubt. In this case , Once we install l2switch, default flow will be added rgt?.we have to delete that manually rgt? . If we uninstall the L2switch , how mininet will connect with ODL ? . Thanks,

Openflowplugin is responsible for the tcp connection between switch and controller, so you can stop using the l2-switch and let the openflowplugin running.

ok ok . @subhash ..If i install only openflowplugin , I am not able to do ping , and hosts are not visible in DLUX. Is this because that i dont have default flow,Is't it?

I uninstalled l2switch-all feature but still the same. I see flows like before which aren't created by me. I were told that I should uninstall hosttracker feature. will it work?

First dont install l2switch-all . ok? Only install odl-openflowplugin-flow-services-ui . if l2switch is installing automatically ,then you have to remove it from your boot feature
