RESTful API for adding/modifying network service header (NSH)

Hi all,

How can I insert flow entries for adding/modifying NSH by RESTful API?

You cant explicitly add NSH flows via REST. The way to program an SFF (Service Function Forwarder) for NSH is to configure all the SFC entities via RESTconf.

The SFC entities that need to be configured are the following (in order):

  1. Service Function(s) (SFs)
  2. Service Function Forwarder(s) (SFFs)
  3. Service Function Chain (SFC)
  4. Service Function Path (SFP)
  5. Rendered Service Path (RSP)

Here is a description of the different SFC configuration entities.

Notice, the trigger to program flow entries is RSP creation, so you wont see anything in the SFF until the RSP is created.
