@groshevmilan and @harsha, My installation of Liberty does not have OVS, it has neutron-plugin-linuxbridge-agent. How will I replace the neutron-plugin-linuxbridge-agent by OVS and then integrate with ODL? Regards, Igor Meneguitte Ávila

@harsha, Can I use neutron-plugin-openvswitch-agent in liberty? It will create the OVS connections to controller and compute nodes? The neutron-plugin-openvswitch-agent package is available on the repository (liberty)? Regards, Igor

yeah you have to use neutron-plugin-openvswitch-agent as L2 agent.

Only feature Odl-ovsdb-openstack is required for integration. follow the steps mentioned here and for installing drivers use the drivers which are available in github. Follow steps mentioned here.

tnx a lot @harsha , i am followoing those but when i install on Beryllium the odl-ovsdb-openstack i am not getting any activity on port 6633,6640,6653. The command: lsof -iTCP | grep 66 is returning empty and also on the graphical interface there is nothing when i install delux-all.

what os did you use and how did you set up the basic environment for ODL ? t

I also used ODL with same version of ubuntu. I downloaded the tar file from ODL Downloads and installed features. This works fine for me. I didn't use code from GitHub.

@harsha you installed it on clean Ubuntu machine ? just install java 7 JDK untar the file , start and install the odl-ovsdb-openstack feature ?
