  • Is there any thing to keep in mind while creating threads inside a OSGI Bundle ?,

{Q}. Created a new bundle and then created two thread on it, and Topology.java from web module access this bundle {topology.java passes received switch/host data to this bundle, and this bundle waiting to read this data, once it receive it and then it print it, it works fine} but one of the side effect it showing e.g. it shows the host node and those are movable from the webUI, but it deosn't show the label of switch node, and those are not movable also.

Any suggestion on this ?

Below solved my problem

I referred OFStatisticsManager.java, it has implemented statisticsCollector = new Thread(new Runnable() {... to create the thread on the init method. it is available on the following path :..\controller\opendaylight\protocolplugins\openflow\src\main\java\org\opendaylight\controller\protocolplugin\openflow\internal

Note : I am completely new to Java/OSGI
