i created a controller in linux OS, but the response code was 405(Method Not Allowed) The linux command was :

curl -v --user admin:adminpass -H 'content-type: application/json' -X POST -d '{"controller": {"controller_id": "con_99", "type": "pfc", "version": "1.0"}}' http://10.50.76.124:8083/vtn-webapi/controllers

but, when the command was

curl -v --user admin:adminpass -H 'content-type: application/json' -X POST -d '{"controller": {"controller_id": "con_99", "type": "odc", "version": "1.0"}}' http://10.50.76.124:8083/vtn-webapi/controllers

it worked!!!!

The special was setting of 'type'. When type was set by "odc", is ok. But, when type was set by "odc", is unsuccessed.

Is anybody can tell me is there any special roll about the setting of 'type'?

ps:i am not be good at English, soory!

HI, The roll of "type" is to specify which controller your going to connect with Vtncoordinator. Vtncoodinator can handle multiple type of controller.current VtnCoordinator only includes odcdriver component to handle ODL controller. pfcdriver component is not included in VtnCoordinator source. it will not support type "pfc". could you elaborate the scenario your trying so that we can provide better solution.
