asked 2014-11-11 05:50:02 -0800

In hydrogen, There is way to inspect packet which comes to ODL by using my module which receive packet using " receiveDataPacket" function. Then I get one jarfile after compiling using "mvn clean install" which I installed in OSGI console using install file: . Then When ever packet comes to ODL my bundle also get same packet .

How can I to do the same using Helium and Karaf.

That should function the same way in Helium unless that particular function was deprecated by its host project.

Helium ships a base controller project, with feature descriptors for all of the other ODL projects. By installing those features (on the console type feature:install <name>) you can customize your controller instance to have just what services you want/need. You may have to install a few additional services to get your bundle working as it was before.</name>

What does the headers command report for your bundle?

In controller folder, There are two directory ad-sal and md-sal. In ad-sal I made a new directory parallel to arphandler with name mybundle. In mybundle I created pom.xml with all src/main/java/org/controller/opendaylight directory structure. There I made a along with I can easily compile mybundle with mvn clean install. And then I use to install this jar using Install file: myapp.jar on OSGI console of HYDROGEN. Following are my question. How can I run my this application on HELIUM KARAF? Thanks
