Hello All,

I am interested in setting up the ODL controller and check the BGP-LS feature. Can anyone point out me, from where can i get the NE device which supports BGP-LS feature ?

Is the image available openly, or we need any licence to use this image with BGP-LS

Please share your thoughts

thanks Antony

Hello Antony, I think, you can find answer to your question in draft-ietf-idr-ls-distribution-impl-04 - BGP-LS interoperability testing overview. You can find there exists one open-source implementation (java library), which can be used for ODL testing for free.

thanks a lot milos. really helpful. Will try out

Milos , i have come across in few reading, at we can use pcc-mock installed in mininet for bgp-ls.

Can we do this ?? if so, is there any procedure guide for this ?

thanks Antony

I am afraid not - pcc-mock is just simple testing tool, which reply to PCE requests with dump reports and has nothing to do with BGP-LS. It is suitable for testing ODL stateful PCE implementation only.
