Hello,

I have last version ODL. I am trying to communicate it to neutron.

opendaylight-user@root>feature:list | shell:grep neutron
odl-vtn-manager-neutron                          | 0.2.0-Helium        | x         | vtn-manager-0.2.0-Helium             | OpenDaylight :: VTN Manager :: Neutron Interface
odl-lispflowmapping-neutron                      | 1.1.11-Helium       | x         | odl-lispflowmapping-1.1.11-Helium    | OpenDaylight :: LISP Flow Mapping :: Neutron Integ

I changed ml2conf.ini mechanismdrivers = opendaylight

and ml2conf odl.ini [ml2_odl] url = http://10.101.17.207:8080/controller/nb/v2/neutron username = admin password = admin

karaf is running and I restarted neutron services.

But there is no any changes, I don't see any new item in web console.

Please help, how to integrate neutron to ODL?

Hi

I am trying to achieve the same. I followed this wiki https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/OpenStackandOpenDaylight but not sure if the integration is successful.

If you got anything, I am very much eager to know. Thanks

Are you using ODL Helium or Integration project ?

I am using ODL Helium. I have successfully integrated OPenStack with ODL Helium, created a network, subnet, launched a VM and all seems good. In Horizon, VM is shown having an ip. But in the VM console, ifconfig doesnot show any ip assigned to VM. What could the reasons?

Hi Janki, I have the same problem. Did you solved it?

@SilviaF Apologies for late reply. Lost log-in credentials. Yes, the issue is issued for me. Check this link. https://ask.opendaylight.org/question/2568/after-integrating-openstack-with-odl-vms-donot-get-ip/

ODL Driver in Neutron will make REST calls to ODL only when you do a network/subnet/port CRUD operation. If you want to test integration is successful or not, try to create a neutron network [neutron net-create ...]. If it works, it means integration is successful. I don't think DLUX has support for Neutron elements yet [never used GUI so can't comment for sure]

Other test you can do is check for output of sudo ovs-vsctl show on your controller/compute node. It should show br-int created and connected.
